Zalakaros is located in the south western part of Hungary, 200 km far from both Budapest and Graz. The settlement, nearly as much as 800 years old, became internationally known and popular as the thermal water in the region was found 30 years ago. In the meantime Zalakaros has become a famous spa and relaxation resort.

Zalakaros is few kilometers away from main road E-71. By car from Budapest you need to take the motorway M7. After you have reached Balatonszentgyörgy switch to highway 7 towards Nagykanizsa till you reach Galambok junction. Over there take a right towards Zalakaros (3-4 km).

You can travel by coaches or trains (trains go only as far as the station of Zalakomar, from there Zalakaros may be accessed by bus or transfer).
